Mini rugby coaches play a pivotal role in the development of rugby in Scotland. They are responsible for developing a child’s love for the sport, as well as providing them with the necessary skills and competencies to enjoy the game for years to come.

To guide coaches through the multitude of material that young players need to cover in their formative years in rugby, Scottish Rugby Coach Development are holding three FREE National Mini Rugby Coaching Conferences at:

  • Whitecraigs RFC
  • Peffermill Playing Fields
  • Perthshire RFC

The day is for mini rugby coaches of all experiences to come together and learn from industry renowned deliverers and educators on areas such as:

  • Physical competency for mini rugby players
  • Designing mini rugby sessions/seasons and tournaments via the new online Training Hub
  • Age Grade Law Variations update with Colin Ireland
  • Mini rugby Principles of Play practical

The Mini Rugby Coaching Conference is free to attend. To register, please select the 'APPLY NOW' link at your chosen venue to complete an online form.
